Mr Trololo to sing live in a Moscow’s club

The Trololo Man, best known in Russia as the renowned Soviet singer Eduard Khil, whose voice is associated with lots of popular Soviet hits, will give a solo concert at Moscow’s 16 Tons club on April 24.
After becoming a worldwide Internet sensation earlier this year, the 75-year-old Soviet singer has often been asked by newfound fans to continue his concert activity. This weekend, the Russian audience and those who will be in the Russian capital will get a chance to see the legend performing live.
The concert program will feature his all-time hits, including the one that made him popular worldwide through the webafter almost half a century, “I’m so happy to finally be back home”, written by Arkady Ostrovsky. In 2010, this song became an Internet sensation worldwide and has achieved extraordinary popularity, having scooped millions of views on YouTube.
The organizers are sure that the concert hall will be fully packed on Saturday night, as most of the tickets have already been sold.
“Over the past years [Eduard Khil] has released over 15 albums, which not only pleased his diehard fans, but helped him gain new admirers of his talent,” the organizers say.
“That’s why we are sure that the concert will be a full house.”
